CASE STUDIES
 
Drivesol Worldwide, formerly Teleflex Automotive, contracted TPT to provide industrial engineering support for approximately 55 MODAPTS studies across 7 lines. TPT provided an engineer with the specific skills in MODAPTS and line balancing analysis needed to complete this project. The project scope was as follows:
 
•
 Develop time studies of existing operations using MODAPTS
•
 Identify value-added and non-value-added elements of work within the operations
•
 Methodize the existing operations and develop simulated MODAPTS studies
•
 Identify constraints and bottlenecks
•
 Provide a work leveling study and line balance plan
 
TPT provided Excel-based software that was used to develop the MODAPTS Studies and Work Leveling Charts.
